Robert Sarich moved to the State of Arizona in 1977 and became a resident of Pima
County in 1987. He earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration from
Arizona State University in 1986. Prior to his appointment by F. Ann Rodriguez to
Assistant Chief Deputy Recorder in April 2005, Mr. Sarich was President of Southwest
Data Services Inc. located here in Pima County, a successful business that he owned
for 17 years. His business knowledge and experience with the private sector in Pima
County is a valuable asset to the Pima County Recorder?s Office.
Rob is active with organized youth ice hockey in Tucson, lending his time and
passion to the sport. Whether acting as a volunteer, team manager, or parent of a
player, he continues his efforts to help Tucson?s youth realize their potential as
young adults through their participation in youth ice hockey. Rob is also an
active member of his church and supports his community by acting as a volunteer
with various outreach programs. Additionally, Rob shares his passion for antique
automobile history and restoration with his son David. Rob has restored several
antique automobiles and now shares his automotive knowledge with his son David as
they are restoring a Jaguar XKE.
