Notice

 

NEW ARIZONA LAW

 

          Effective January 1, 2007, Arizona law prohibits recording any document that contains more than five numbers of an individual’s:

 

 

v    SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

 

v    CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD OR CHARGE CARD NUMBERS

 

v    RETIREMENT ACCOUNT NUMBERS

 

v    SAVINGS, CHECKING OR SECURITIES ENTITLEMENT ACCOUNT NUMBERS.

 

 

          Violations of this prohibition may result in a civil sanction of up to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each act of recording.

 

          If the document you are recording contains any numbers from the prohibited information, we recommend that you seek legal advice from your attorney before recording the document.
